Shrinking with potentials
Of a thousands seedling beginnings -
The endless futures shiver,
Bow out as strong ones block the sun.
But the forest floor needs magic too.
Beneath the tousle, a quiet growing strength.
Sink roots deep to bear the weight;
One day there will be branches.
